So, Morrigan’s birthday was coming up and she first said that she wanted a Pomeranian for her birthday and she’d been looking at pictures of them. They are not my favourite kind of dog and I entertained the thought of it. The people that live down the road from me had another litter of puppies which happens to be the same dog parents that had a litter of puppies around Hanukkah that we got one from named Laika. I decided to take a walk down there and ended up picking out the cutest little boy they had and Morrigan liked him so that’s what we picked out instead of a Pomeranian. He’s an adorable little boy that’s for sure… He’s gone through many names over the past few weeks because no one has been able to pick one out that everyone can agree upon. Finally a name was picked that everyone likes and it’s Boyka and it really suits him rather well. Well, now I’ll post some pictures of him. He really is adapting well to his new family life!
These days I think I might be running a zoo with all these animals I obtain…

•August 15, 2012 • Leave a CommentIt’s been awhile since I’ve last posted but since then so much has happened and changed in my life. But do not worry I’ve been taking pictures and collecting things to post eventually. So yay! I should start back to posting shortly and may decide to change a few things around here and see how I like it. For now I have a changed logo that I only so-so like… Don’t be surprised if it change again.
I just wanted to say I’m around and all is well.
Laughing Gull sitting pretty
•February 25, 2012 • Leave a CommentWhen I was at the Jacksonville Zoo last week I was walking around and as I neared the river I noticed quite a few birds sitting perched up on poles so of course I had go go over there and start talking pictures. Shortly after I did it… it started to drizzle rain and it had became overcast so that didn’t stop me from taking pictures. I did managed to get a pretty good picture in my opinion of a Laughing Gull. Because the sky was already so grey I decided on black & white would be perfect for it so that’s what I went with. I am quite pleased with the photo and how it turned out.
Well deviantART has taken on a new life for me
•February 24, 2012 • Leave a CommentI’ve gone and decided to start a group on deviantART and did not realize how hard it wold be to get Jewish Artist to join or to even find any Jewish Artist to start with… So, hopefully some of my friends are reading this and could pass it along to come check out the group, join it, add some work, and lets have some fun! I know there is more than 2 of us out there. :) Oh and so people know I am rather excited about this if you couldn’t tell because I am writing a blog post about it. :)
On golden skies
•February 22, 2012 • Leave a CommentI was out in Mayport, Florida taking pictures of the sunset and whatever else I could around me and happened to catch these two seagulls flying up above and it came out to be such a beautiful picture. I had to do no editing whatsoever to this picture it came straight out of the camera this way. I posted the original on deviantART yesterday so I decided I’d post it here. I’d like to get a lot more of my work shown off and I do sometimes like writing about it. :)
The lonely bench
•February 22, 2012 • Leave a CommentI decided to post the picture what I’ve dubbed the Lonely bench to deviantART because I’ve always found it to be a bit ironic… It’s a old cemetery called Huguenot Cemetery in St. Augustine, Florida that lets visits in about once a month. There hasn’t been a burial there probably in more than 50 years or more years. There is this one bench that sits in the cemetery and it’s rather new but it say WELCOME on it and it’s sits between these very old graves. To me that’s I dunno I don’t want to say funny and I am not sure if ironic is the right word because it’s not like anyone goes there to sit because they keep the cemetery locked up. So, I felt the need to photograph it and after doing so getting home viewing the orignal it was a plain photo I felt black & white did it a lot of justice and helped convey what I thought I was seeing.
Great Western Egret
•February 21, 2012 • Leave a CommentI was going back through some of my pictures to post on deviantART and I found my picture of a Great Western Egret that I took towards sunset that I just love. I’ve decided to posted it here. Bird watching generally isn’t my thing but this is one gorgeous shot if you ask me and well worth the wait in being patient.
Tulips
•February 19, 2012 • Leave a CommentBefore the tulip pictures got lost in my sea of pictures I figured I’d do one of the full bunch of tulips that Ethan had gotten me. I love the way this came out and they are so beautiful!! I especially love the processing I did on this using Lightroom and I squared it off for a better effect. The sad thing is they are starting to die off because I have no clue how to keep tulips a live.

Beautiful Japanese Magnolia
•February 18, 2012 • Leave a CommentI went to the Zoo yesterday in hopes of finding some pretty flowers to take pictures of. I went to their Japanese gardens area in hopes of finding beautiful blooming Cherry Blossom trees but I did not. There was a few with blooms on it. But I did find some Japanese Magnolias and this is the best picture in my opinion that came out. I will be sorting out and picking out some more pictures but this one I had to post right away because it’s the prettiest. I think the edited I did with it in Lightroom made it come out just that much better.

A beautiful red tulip
•February 14, 2012 • Leave a CommentMy son Ethan bought me the most beautiful set of tulips they were red and stunning the day before Valentines day. We don’t celebrate Valentines day but that didn’t matter to him he wanted to get me something pretty and something to take pictures of. He’s such a little sweetie! I did what he wanted me to do… I took lots of pictures of them and this is one of the first ones I took and processed with lightroom.
